Italy’s reputation on food needs no introductions, and Milan doesn’t lag behind the rest of the country. Indeed, with its history of internal immigration from every Italian region, Milan is probably the best showcase of Italian cuisine in all its regional facets. With representatives from every corner of Italy and a decent choice of international cuisine too (but you’re not going for that, are you?), Milan’s food scene is second to none.

In this vastness of choice, we divided the section into the three categories dearest to the true Milanese: Restaurants, Street Food (gelato, anyone?) and Aperitivo, the modern pre-dinner cocktail-and-buffet rite. And all this glory wears a responsible hat: in fact all the places shown abide to our sustainability guidelines. Buon Appetito.
